Patient Rights & Responsibilities:

MMC's Patient's Rights & Responsibilities are located in all clinical areas throughout the Medical Center.

Patient Rights are given to every patient upon admission to the Medical Center. They give patients the hot-line numbers to all state regulatory agencies. They are also printed in both english and spanish on every floor.

In addition, the Patient Rights include the grievance procedure. It is important for you to know that any patient/family member can file a grievance with ANY team member (refer immediately to ext. 2220). Remember that there is a difference between a grievance (a violation of a patient's rights) and a customer service issue.
